To run the BMW injection rail i fitted a facet low pressure pump to draw fuel to a 2 litre aluminium swirl pot mounted up inside the n/s wing by the back of the headlights. This then feeds a Bosch 044 motorsport high pressure pump and filter. The return from the fuel rail comes back to the swirl pot, and the overflow from the swirl pot goes back to the main tank.

If you start off with a 2.8i car then this makes everything much easier as the lift pump and hard fuel lines & fittings are already in place, i'm not sure what bhp the standard 2.8i pump can support (being from a higher pressure mechanical injection system) it would probably be wise to check the flow rates at the 3.5bar that the BMW system uses.

Bosch fuel injector part number is 0280150778 for the standard 240cc/min red injectors which are used on both the M60B30, B40 and B44.
